Do you feel stressed? Do you feel overwhelmed?
Through this course, we will look at ways to destress and support one another.
As a nation, we have been going through a difficult time. You might have ended up working from home, teaching your children, and having to balance doing everything else. All the changes that occurred quickly might have caused stress in your life.
As we continue experiencing a new normal in our lives, we still look for the normal that we know. As we know change is hard. We can come together through this course, support one another as changes occur and learn how to rely on God through this storm. Our faith is what will pull us through the storms of life. I know this firsthand.
You’ll need copies of the following books for this class:
- Too Blessed to Be Stressed: Words of Wisdom for Women on the Move, by Dr. Suzan D. Johnson Cook
- Prayer, Stress and Our Inner Wounds, by Flora Slosson Wuellner
- Dancing with Words: Storytelling as Legacy, Culture, and Faith, by Ray Buckley
This course will run for 6 weeks and is eligible for 0.0 CEUs.
