Join with 10-15 other students in this two-week study explores the primary leadership skills offered by the Process Communication Model (PCM). Discovered by Dr. Taibi Kahler, the PCM inventory is one of the most predictive personality tools available and is used in 50 countries and in over 22 languages. Servants By Design takes a unique faith-focused perspective on the principles of PCM.
This course is for anyone seeking to grow their ability to be a Christian leader. Pastors can use this course to become more effective preachers and communicators. Volunteer church leadership can use this course to strengthen their teams and gain an appreciation for diversity in giftedness. Students could use this course to experience self-discovery. Or a parent might take this course as a way to grow their ability to connect with their child. If you want to be a better communicator, better leader, and more self-full Christian than this course is for you!
A facilitator will guide you through videos, readings, discussion boards, and interactive practice of the PCM skills. You’ll even see PCM principles at work in the class!
Anticipate the course taking about 1 hour a day Monday-Friday for two weeks. This course is eligible for 1.0 CEU.

About the Instructor
Adam Barlow-Thompson is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. He has served in the local church, started a non-profit, and is co-owner of Plus Plus Global, the parent company of Servants By Design. Adam is a Certified Trainer in Process Communication Model and has been one of the most active trainers in the US over the last 2 years. He has specialized in adapting the Process Communication Model for spiritual applications. Adam trains hundreds of pastors and professional church workers every year and delights when people are able to use this tool to communicate the gospel more effectively.
Adam lives in Wichita, Kansas, with his wife and young son. He is a folk musician and plays a variety of string instruments; his primary instrument is the banjo! He loves playing music with his wife, jumping on the trampoline with his son, and hosting large gatherings of neighbors at their home. With some of his neighbors, Adam co-founded the Neighboring Movement which works with churches and cities to do community development through the practice of good neighboring.
