Want to better communicate with your congregation and your world? This course will show you how.
In this two week course, we’ll look at how technology can be used in the church to enhance service, communications, advertisement of events and more. We’ll review communication resources like texting (with and without a cell phone), website creation, a text & email communication system, Google Docs, and a polling system. You’ll participate in daily assignments such as discussing types of technology and will have small projects assigned and reviewed by the instructor.
We will do a video chat to see if there are any concerns about the course and get to meet one another.
This course is eligible for 1.0 CEU.

Past Students Said…
“The course was excellent! The instructor was very knowledgeable, and gave thorough, easy-to-understand explanations of each of the programs (great for a student like me who is not the most technologically literate). It was very enlightening and has me inspired to try these new forms of communication in my church. I look forward to taking more courses with this instructor.”
“The programs the instructor chose all have the potential to be valuable resources for church communication. His explanations were easy to understand, and he encouraged us to practice using them, in order to get comfortable with them. He also encouraged discussion between classmates so we could share ideas and ways that we could implement these programs in our own churches.”
“I learned about a wide range of communication tools, how to use them and how they could be used in local church ministry. For someone who is tech-able but not tech-knowledgeable this was an excellent course.”
“The instructor was awesome! Very friendly and helpful with any and all questions we could come up with. He made it fun and workable in a full time job situation.”
“I learned how to use the advanced features of Google forms and how easy it is to set up a quality website.”
