Youth Ministry 101 offers the basics of youth ministry covering topics such as: the role of the youth minister, youth culture, administration, Christian education with youth, volunteers, games, and more. The instructor, Todd Vick, brings his 12 plus years of experience to this workshop to guide participants into a learning experience that will enhance the way ministry to and with youth is accomplished. The workshop is designed for new youth ministers with little to no experience but anyone can participate. You will be given the tools to build a youth ministry that will last and learn to protect against burn out – information that is critical for interns, volunteers and veterans alike. Limited to 20 participants.

Todd Vick

Rev Todd VickThe Reverend Todd Vick, M.Div. is currently serving as the Senior Pastor of Salem United Methodist Church in Conway, AR. He has over 14 years of experience in youth, emerging adults, young adults, pastoral, and lay involvement ministries. Todd holds a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science degree in Youth Ministries from John Brown University. He and his wife Carrie reside in Conway with their two boys Elijah and Riley. Todd’s passion is for the grace of God to invade and radically change the lives of God’s children through one-on-one discipleship and intentional group teaching in the context of a loving missional community.
