IFD182 – Uncensored Prayer: The Spiritual Practice of Wrestling with God
Course Dates: Check Back Soon
Are you searching for something deeper in your prayer life? This five week course is an opportunity to discover for yourself the redemptive freedom that comes from having totally honest conversations with God in your own words, wrestling through anger, faith doubt, and hope about every aspect of life. You will learn how to know you’re hearing from God, and explore a variety of ways to pray.
The instructor, Joy Wilson, is the author of Uncensored Prayer: The Spiritual Practice of Wrestling With God. Assignments include reading the book, daily guided prayer, and sharing with the class your reflections and experience. Class size is small so Joy can give each student a lot of personal mentoring. Since this is much more than a book study, you will be expected to actively participate the entire five weeks. Prior to starting the workshop, participants need to order this book.
This course is eligible for 1.0 CEU.
